I was quite a strange child.

Growing up in a house of big carb lovers, all my favourite dinners revolved around the beige stuff: mash, roasties, jackets smothered in butter and cheese, chips in all their glorious forms, crisps crisps crisps. A potato obsession coupled with a very strange imagination manifested into scribbling carby characters everywhere (cards, handwritten notes, the backs of homework books). Over the years those little drawings sprouted into a full-blown collection, combining two of my greatest loves, card giving and, well, you guessed it!

I've kept every single card ever handed to me, because I believe it's the little things that make a big difference. From choosing a design that's just perfect for that person to handwriting a thoughtful note and sending it straight to their door for ‘big life stuff’ moments or just because. The act of card sending is simple, lovely, and the world could do with more of it.

Little Potato Studio officially launched in 2025. Each design is hand-drawn by me from my home studio in South London and printed in the UK on FSC-certified stock, using recycled and recyclable materials wherever possible.

My hope is simple: to make people smile, and to create silly cards that people will want to keep. One potato pun at a time.
